₹ 56.89 Crore Disbursed for Foodgrain Management and FPS Dealer Margins

JAMMU, Dec 16: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has approved an advance Central allocation of ₹ 56.89 crore for the transportation and management of foodgrains within the state, covering the margins for Fair Price Shop (FPS) dealers, as well as additional support under the National Food Security Act (NFSA), 2013, for the fiscal year 2024-25. This funding comprises ₹ 30.20 crore for the Jammu Division and ₹ 26.68 crore for the Kashmir Division.
