JAMMU, Jan 16: On Thursday, the government repatriated three JKPS officers from the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) back to the Home Department and announced the transfer of several other officials.
As per the government order, three Superintendents of Police (SPs)—Abdul Wahid Shah, Mohammad Rashid, and Rakesh Kumar—have been returned from the ACB.
In their place, Deep Singh Jamwal, Manzoor Ahmad Mir, and Mamta Sharma have been assigned to the ACB, J&K, effective immediately after moving from the Home Department.
Additionally, Javid Hussain Bhat, Mehmood Ahmad, and Abdul Qayoom are now serving in the ACB on a deputation basis.
Following his promotion to Superintendent of Police, Mohammad Saleem Bhat will remain in the bureau as Additional Superintendent of Police on a deputation basis from the Home Department, continuing his role as Deputy Superintendent in the ACB.
Furthermore, the order states that Dr. Ashok Sharma, a JKPS Superintendent of Police, who was previously assigned to the CID under Government Order No. 364-Home of 2024 dated 16.08.2024, has been relieved from the ACB, J&K, with immediate effect.
