JAMMU, Feb 19: The Government has issued two separate orders today involving the immediate transfer of 31 doctors, including an Incharge (I/c) Medical Superintendent (MS), Incharge BMOs, Incharge DIOs, and consultants.

According to the first order, Dr. Yasmeen Kangoo, who was previously the I/C Assistant Director (RS) at the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK), has been appointed as the I/C Deputy Director (Schemes) within the same Directorate. Dr. Mehmooda Jan, formerly the I/C BMO Soibugh, will now serve as the I/C Assistant Director (TB) at DHSK. Dr. BS Tulla, previously the I/C Controller of Stores at DHSK, is now the Principal of RFPTC Kangan.
Other significant transfers include Dr. Sameena Gul (MO, SSO at DHSK) being appointed as I/C DNO Kashmir, and Dr. Andleeb Bashir, the former I/C BMO Ganderbal, has been designated as I/C Medical Superintendent of SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, to fill a vacancy. Additionally, Dr. Rehana Kousar, a Consultant MCH at SDH Kangan, has been assigned to GMC Srinagar under standard deputation terms.
Dr. Mohd Yousuf, previously I/C BMO Chogul, is now the I/C DHO Kulgam. Dr. Arshad Rafi, who was the Principal of RFPTC Kangan, has taken on the role of I/C Controller of Stores at DHSK. Dr. Musadiq Khan, the former I/C Deputy Medical Superintendent at Government SSH Srinagar, is reappointed as Medical Officer, Rehbar-i-Sehat, at DHSK, while Dr. Bushra Yousuf (I/C DIO Ganderbal) will also manage the duties of BMO Ganderbal.
Other affected doctors include Dr. Shamima Bano, who is now DTO Budgam, relieving Dr. Adfar Yaseen of extra responsibilities. Dr. Irshad Ahmad has been appointed as I/C BMO Soibugh, while Dr. Mohd Ashraf Wani (I/C BMO Kangan) has been promoted to BMO Khag, and Dr. Syed Idrees has been transferred from I/C BMO Hajin to I/C BMO Chogul.
Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad, previously awaiting posting, is now the I/C Deputy Medical Superintendent at MCH Anantnag. Dr. Gul Afroz Akhter, a Medical Officer at Block Beerwah, will now take over as I/C BMO Chattergam, and Dr. Bashir Ahmad Awan has been appointed as I/C Deputy CMO Kulgam.
Dr. Arshid Rasool Baba (I/C BMO Khag) has been transferred to I/C BMO Kangan; Dr. Javed Ahmad Bhat (I/C DHO Pulwama) is now I/C BMO Hajin; Dr. Nisar Ahmad Ganai (waiting posting orders at DHSK) has been appointed as I/C Deputy CMO Bandipora; and Dr. Faroz Iqbal Lone (Consultant Anesthesia at CHC Gurez) will temporarily oversee BMO Gurez until further arrangements.
In a second order, Dr. Kiran Kailu, who was waiting for placement at the Directorate of Health Services Jammu (DHSJ), has been appointed I/C State Veneriologist in Jammu. Dr. Arun Sharma, previously the I/C Medical Superintendent at MCH Gandhi Nagar, has been directed to report to DHSJ for further duties.
Additional transfers include Dr. Iqbal Malik moving from I/C BMO Nowshera to I/C BMO Kalakote, and Dr. Sham Lal switching from I/C BMO Kalakote to I/C BMO Nowshera. Dr. Sat Lal Manhas, formerly I/C BMO Kishtwar, has been appointed I/C Deputy CMO Doda, relieving Dr. Om Kumar of extra duties.
Moreover, Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma has been moved from I/C BMO Padder to I/C BMO Kishtwar, Dr. Krishan Singh Katoch from I/C BMO Dachhan to I/C BMO Padder, and Dr. Gurdeep Singh (MO, TH Mahanpur) has been assigned as MO at NIDDCP Jammu. Finally, Dr. Sajad Hussain, a Dental Surgeon at PHC Keeru, will temporarily cover the I/C BMO Dachhan role until further arrangements are made.
