NEW DELHI, Feb 13: On Thursday, six lawyers and two judicial officials were promoted to judges across seven high courts.
According to a statement from the law ministry, two lawyers were appointed as additional judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, while one lawyer was designated as a judge for each of the Delhi, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Karnataka high courts.
One judicial officer was also elevated to the position of judge in both the Gauhati and Calcutta high courts.
