NEW DELHI, Feb 10:
Textile manufacturer A B Cotspin announced on Monday that it has secured a significant order for 500 metric tonnes of cotton yarn, valued at approximately Rs 15 crore.
This achievement solidifies the company’s reputation as a reliable supplier of high-quality cotton yarn, knitted fabrics, and sustainable textile solutions, according to a company statement.
The order is expected to play a crucial role in the company’s growth strategy and enhance its foothold in the competitive textile sector.
This development comes at a favorable time for the Indian textile industry, which is on the brink of growth, bolstered by the Union Budget 2025-26’s emphasis on advancing the textile, MSME, and manufacturing sectors.
Key government initiatives, including the Mission for Cotton Productivity, increased credit support for MSMEs, duty restructuring, and a renewed focus on domestic manufacturing, are anticipated to foster growth, sustainability, and global competitiveness.
Additionally, the current political climate in Bangladesh presents a unique opportunity for Indian textile exporters to gain a larger share of the global market.
“This accomplishment not only enhances our standing in both domestic and international markets but also significantly boosts our sales and profitability. We project a turnover of around Rs 350 crore and an EBITDA of Rs 50-55 crore for FY 2025-26,” stated Managing Director Deepak Garg.
A B Cotspin has built lasting partnerships with a prominent clientele across various industries.
These collaborations include SPL Faridabad, a supplier to major US and international retailers such as Walmart, JCPenney, Nautica, and Target, and Jawandsons Ludhiana, known for their house furnishings under brands like Oster Blankets and TITLIS Bed Sheets, as well as Mi Arcus Baby Garments.
Moreover, A B Cotspin works with C Mohan International Ludhiana, Kuddu Knitwear Ludhiana, Trident Group Barnala, Dass Fabrics Ludhiana, and Sunny Textiles Panipat. (PTI)
