Earlier in the day, Dr. Uttamani provided updates, confirming that Khan suffered six stab wounds, two of which are deep, one of which is near the spine. Khan required the expertise of both a neurosurgeon and a plastic surgeon for treatment of his injuries.
“The injuries comprised two minor, two intermediate, and two severe wounds, one of which is located on his back and requires specialized attention,” he stated. The injury on Khan’s wrist also requires surgical repair by a plastic surgeon.

According to initial reports, an unidentified individual entered Khan’s home, leading to a struggle during which he was attacked. Some family members were present at the time.
A police official confirmed Khan’s injuries and stated that he was transported to Lilavati Hospital and is currently stable.
The investigation is being handled by the Bandra police, who have begun probing the incident.
