KULGAM, Jan 20: In an effort to strengthen the connection between police and the community, Police organized Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meetings at multiple locations including Police Station Manzgam, Police Station DH Pora, Police Post Frisal, Police Post DK Marg, Police Post Navayuga Tunnel, and in Village Razloo, Kund.
During the session in Village Razloo, Kund, the meeting was led by Addl SP NHW Qazigund, Kulgam Mumtaz Ali Bhatti.
At the other Police Stations/Posts, jurisdictional officers facilitated the discussions, where residents of the respective areas actively participated.
The attendees brought up a variety of issues concerning public welfare.
In response to the matters raised, the chairing officers assured that legitimate concerns would be presented to the relevant authorities for prompt resolution, and issues relating to the police would also be handled as swiftly as possible.
Community members were urged to assist the police in preserving law and order and in identifying any anti-national individuals attempting to disrupt the peaceful environment.
