LUCKNOW, Dec 24: On Tuesday, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav critiqued the BJP-led administrations both at the Centre and in Uttar Pradesh, referring to them as a “double blunder” government rather than a “double engine” one.
The former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh posted on his official social media account on ‘X’ about a Vande Bharat train incident, stating: “Rasta bhatak gayi Vande Bharat – jana tha Goa, nikal gayi Kalyan” (The Vande Bharat lost its way – it was meant for Goa but ended up in Kalyan).
Along with the train news image, Yadav commented, “The BJP is not a ‘double engine’ government, but a ‘double blunder’ government.”
He further added, “The BJP has derailed the country’s progress onto the wrong track.”
The CSMT-Madgaon Vande Bharat express train diverted from its usual route on Monday morning due to a technical issue at Diva station in Thane district, Maharashtra, resulting in a 90-minute delay in reaching Goa, officials reported.
Instead of heading towards Panvel station along the Diva-Panvel railway line used by Konkan-bound trains, the express train took the Kalyan route. (PTI)
