UDHAMPUR, Jan 12: Following the arrest of both absconders, Udhampur Police have successfully detained all three suspects involved in the deadly attack on one Sourav Rathore at Slathia Chowk, Udhampur, on January 8.
As per the Police report, the absconders, Imran Chandail, son of Gulzar Ahmed from Gangera, Udhampur, and Sparsh Bhat, son of Pintoo Ji Bhat from Suryavanshi Nagar, Muthi, Jammu, were apprehended after persistent efforts by the Udhampur Police team, led by SHO Raghubir Singh.
The third suspect, Mohd Arif, was arrested at the scene immediately after the attack on Sourav Rathore, son of Maan Singh from Omala, Udhampur, at Slathia Chowk on January 8. The weapon used in the crime, a sharp-edged Khukhri, was also confiscated on that day.
A case (FIR No.12/2025) has been registered under Sections 109/BNS, and 4/25 of the Arms Act concerning this incident.
