Srinagar, Dec 4: On Wednesday evening, terrorists opened fire on an army personnel who was on leave in the Tral region of Awantipora, South Kashmir. A senior police official reported that the incident occurred as the soldier was visiting his family. He sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was promptly transported to a hospital for medical care. His condition is currently stable, according to the officer. In response to the attack, security forces have cordoned off the area in an effort to apprehend the assailants. (Agencies)
