JAMMU, Dec 11: On Wednesday, the Army uncovered a significant terrorist hideout in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, leading to the seizure of a substantial arsenal of arms and ammunition, according to officials.
The operation, carried out by the Rashtriya Rifles, took place during a cordon and search mission in the forested region of Mahore, they reported.
Officials indicated that the items recovered from the hideout included an AK assault rifle with three magazines containing over 400 rounds, two pistols, two magazines holding 14 rounds, and four hand grenades.
The search operation in the vicinity is ongoing, and additional details are expected soon, they added.
