Bank Robbery Attempt Thwarted in Kathua, J&K; Two Suspects Arrested

JAMMU, Feb 26: On Wednesday, the Jammu and Kashmir Police reported that they successfully thwarted a bank robbery attempt in the Kathua district by apprehending two suspects.
The individuals, identified as Ankush Sharma and Sunil Singh, attempted to breach the side wall of the J&K Bank located in the Hatli area in the early hours of Wednesday. According to a police spokesperson, an alert patrol unit noticed suspicious activity around the bank and quickly responded. However, the suspects managed to flee into the darkness.
Nonetheless, they were located and arrested within hours in the Kootah area of Hiranagar, as confirmed by the spokesperson. (Agencies)
