JAMMU, Feb 8: Eager BJP supporters celebrated with traditional Dhol music, fireworks, and the sharing of sweets at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, marking the significant victory of the party in the Delhi Assembly elections.

Sat Sharma, President of J&K BJP, alongside Sunil Sharma, Leader of Opposition & General Secretary; Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister; Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA & General Secretary; and numerous other party leaders and activists participated in the celebration. Sat Sharma praised the party members for their decisive win in the Delhi Assembly elections, attributing the success to every hardworking karyakarta. He noted that the results reflect the increasing trust of the public in the good governance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s administration and highlight the discontent against the corrupt practices of the Aam Aadmi Party. He asserted that the choice for a Double-Engine Government in Delhi would promote socio-economic development and welfare in the capital, following the BJP’s principle of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas.”
Following the celebrations, Sat Sharma led a meeting of senior party leaders assigned as star campaigners and tasked with organizational responsibilities during the Delhi Assembly elections.
Additionally, BJP leaders and members in Kashmir also held an elaborate victory celebration at the BJP Head Office in Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar. On this occasion, BJP General Secretary (Org) Ashok Koul described the victory as a clear endorsement from the public for the party’s policies and governance model championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He reiterated the BJP’s dedication to good governance, development, and nationalism, which resonates with voters nationwide.
He expressed optimism that the BJP’s success in Delhi would be mirrored in J&K, emphasizing that the citizens of Kashmir, along with those in Jammu, would extend their support to the party. He also pointed out the supportive vote from constituencies with Muslim majorities, suggesting this should serve as a wake-up call for those who misinterpret the party’s appeal.
