NEW DELHI, Jan 20: Edtech platform Brightchamps announced on Monday that it has acquired the Indian K12 education marketplace Edjust as part of its strategy for global expansion.
This cash and stock transaction marks Brightchamps’ fourth acquisition since its establishment in 2020. Previously, the company acquired Education10x in 2021, Schola in 2022, and Metamorphosis Edu in 2023, although specific financial details were not disclosed.
Edjust, founded in 2022 by edtech sales experts Dushyant Panchal, Anmol Mittal, and Sanjay Panikar, utilizes a blend of artificial intelligence and emotional intelligence, along with advanced data analytics and contact centers, to ensure engagement with parents who show a strong interest in edtech products.
With established connections among parents in the US and UK, Edjust boasts a successful track record.
“This acquisition represents a significant milestone for us, as it underscores our commitment to sustainable growth and highlights our financial strategy,” said Brightchamps founder and CEO Ravi Bhushan.
“We believe that achieving high customer satisfaction and maintaining strong net promoter scores are essential for the long-term success of edtech products, which can have lasting effects on customers’ lives for decades,” Bhushan added.
With Brightchamps’ support, the founders plan to enhance the sales model and strengthen parent networks across all 30 markets where the company operates, according to the statement.
A new vertical focused on delivering learning in academic subjects such as Math, Science, and English will soon be introduced to promote students’ overall success and future preparedness.
“This is an exciting milestone for the edtech industry. We are appreciative of the opportunity to set a precedent by making sales more transparent and ethical, particularly for a sector as emotionally significant and hopeful as edtech,” stated Dushyant Panchal, co-founder and CEO of Edjust. (PTI)
