JAMMU, Feb 18: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has granted a one-year extension to BVR Subrahmanyam, a retired IAS officer from the 1987 batch, continuing his role as Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog beyond February 24, 2025, or until further instructions are issued.
Subrahmanyam, who previously held the position of Chief Secretary in Jammu and Kashmir, has played a vital role in formulating policies at this premier think tank.
