NEW DELHI, February 7: The Union Cabinet announced on Friday the approval for the ongoing implementation and reorganization of the central sector initiative ‘Skill India Programme (SIP)’ until 2026, with a total outlay of ₹8,800 crore.
This update was shared by Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
During a session chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Cabinet granted approval for the continued operation and restructuring of the ‘Skill India Programme (SIP)’ for the fiscal years 2022-23 through 2025-26, as stated by the minister. (AGENCIES)
