JAMMU, Dec 2: In preparation for the festive season, the Christmas Cake Mixing ceremony took place at Hotel K C Residency today.
Rahul Jandial, Vice President of KC Hotels Pvt Ltd, led the team in combining a variety of ingredients such as Black Currants, Golden Apricots, Rum-soaked Figs, Drunken Raisins, Dates, Candied Orange Peel, Candied Ginger, Dry Cherries, Tutti Frutti, and Candied Pumpkin, along with Rum and Brandy to create the ideal Christmas cake.
During the event, Jandial remarked, “Festivals transcend boundaries and unite people in celebration. The tradition of mixing Christmas cake ingredients has been passed down through generations, and we at K C Residency chose to host this customary gathering with some of our close friends.”
“No Christmas celebration is complete without the traditional Christmas cake, and making it is no easy feat. Preparations start months in advance. This event sees participation from chefs and our entire team, and we view it as a ritual to welcome the festive season, spreading joy and, of course, lots of Christmas cakes,” stated Dr. Chef Sanjay Jamwal, Corporate Chef.
