NEW ORLEANS, Jan 1: A tragic incident occurred on New Year’s Day when ten individuals lost their lives and 30 more were injured as a vehicle struck a crowd on the iconic Canal and Bourbon Street, according to the city’s emergency preparedness agency, NOLA Ready.
The New Orleans police reported that they were addressing a mass casualty situation, which included deaths. NOLA Ready urged the public to avoid the vicinity. (AP)
