JAMMU, Jan 8: The Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir, Atal Dulloo, officially launched the highly anticipated J&K Bank Wall Calendar for the year 2025 during a notable event at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar. The ceremony saw participation from the Bank’s MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee, Executive Director Sudhir Gupta, General Manager Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat, DGM Manju Gupta, along with other senior officials.
At the event, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo praised the Bank’s initiative to introduce the 2025 Calendar, stating, “I am delighted to witness how this Calendar encapsulates the transformation taking place in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. The representation of these infrastructural projects aligns with the Government’s vision for comprehensive and inclusive economic development in the regions.”
“As the principal stakeholder in the Bank, the Government of J&K holds high expectations for this institution, and we are confident that the Bank will reach new milestones while playing a vital role in promoting the inclusive economic development of the region’s populace,” he further added.
Expressing his appreciation for the steadfast support from the J&K Government, MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee thanked the Chief Secretary for his invaluable direction and time. He stated, “I am truly excited about the unveiling of the Bank’s Calendar – 2025, which represents more than just a tool for tracking dates; it symbolizes our profound emotional bond with our community and heritage. This year, we aimed to spotlight milestones of developmental vision through infrastructural projects that embody the people’s aspirations for a progressive and thriving future.”

Executive Director Sudhir Gupta also highlighted the importance of the Calendar, saying, “This calendar serves as a platform to exhibit the beauty, aspirations, and spirit of our core geography’s people. Beyond reaffirming our dedication to contribute to economic advancement, we believe that highlighting these major infrastructural projects will foster confidence and instill pride among the people.”
The theme for the 2025 calendar celebrates significant infrastructure projects that are redefining J&K and Ladakh, showcasing their developmental journey.
The calendar highlights key initiatives such as the forthcoming train to Kashmir – symbolizing improved connectivity and integration. It also features the impressive Reasi Bridge in Jammu – recognized as the world’s highest railway bridge; the renovated iconic Clock Tower at Lal Chowk – a cultural and historical landmark in Srinagar; All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Jammu – representing advancements in healthcare infrastructure, Kargil Sports Stadium – a state-of-the-art facility encouraging sports and youth engagement; and the Indian Astronomical Observatory at Hanle in Ladakh, reflecting the region’s scientific promise and stunning beauty.
Additionally, the calendar incorporates QR codes linking to product details on the Bank’s website for easy access by customers. In keeping with the digital trend, J&K Bank will also offer an eco-friendly e-Calendar, available for download soon on both Android and iOS platforms.
