JAMMU, Jan 9: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah conducted an extensive review of the operations of all government departments during a high-level meeting held at the Civil Secretariat.
The session was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, Cabinet Ministers Javid Ahmad Rana, Sakina Itoo, and Javid Ahmad Dar, along with Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, Additional Chief Secretary to CM Dheeraj Gupta, as well as all Administrative Secretaries and senior officials participating both in person and virtually.
In the meeting, each Administrative Secretary presented a comprehensive vision document detailing measurable targets to be achieved within two timeframes: 100 days and one year. Key deliverables included significant policy decisions, project completions, and the launch of new development initiatives.
The Chief Minister underscored the necessity of adhering to strict deadlines for project execution, emphasizing that timely results are crucial for fulfilling public expectations and advancing development.
Discussions focused on strategies to efficiently meet these targets, with the Chief Minister urging a united effort from all departments to emphasize transparency, accountability, and quick execution to accomplish these objectives within the established timelines.
