Multiple delegations meet with Omar

SRINAGAR, Dec 7: In a notable effort to improve direct engagement with the public, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah held his first public interaction today at the Chief Minister’s Public Services and Outreach Office, known as Raabita.

During the event, Omar emphasized that this office has been established to create a dedicated venue for addressing public grievances and fostering a stronger relationship between the Government and the citizens.

A total of 15 delegations met with the Chief Minister, representing diverse social, cultural, and professional sectors.
The discussions brought forth issues such as economic challenges, cultural preservation, employment opportunities, and sectoral development.
The preservation of unique cultural heritage was a key topic, with participants advocating for measures to promote Jammu and Kashmir’s rich heritage, safeguard local languages, and implement social welfare initiatives.
The Chief Minister paid close attention to these issues, highlighting the importance of a unified approach to maintain the region’s distinctive identity.
