JAMMU, Jan 6: For the second consecutive day, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah continued his pre-budget consultations with various stakeholders, underlining the importance of feedback from public representatives who maintain a direct connection with the populace.
As part of these discussions, the Chief Minister engaged in consultative meetings with District Development Council (DDC) Chairpersons and Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) from Baramulla, Udhampur, Kulgam, and Ramban districts.
In his address to the attendees, the Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s dedication to creating an inclusive budgeting process. “While the Assembly may approve the budget, it must not be crafted in isolation.
