Jammu, Mar 1: On Saturday, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah conveyed his best wishes to the community as the Islamic holy month of Ramzan begins.
Muslims throughout the nation will observe the first day of Ramzan on Sunday.
In his message, Abdullah highlighted the significance of unity and kindness during this time of contemplation.
He urged residents to support each other and cultivate a culture of respect and understanding.
“This spirit of unity will contribute to a more robust and resilient community across Jammu and Kashmir,” Abdullah stated.
He also expressed his hopes that the Almighty would respond to all prayers and accept “our fasting during this holy month.”
The chief minister prayed for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of everyone in Jammu and Kashmir.
“May Allah’s blessings be with all. Ramzan Mubarak!” he concluded.
