Jammu, Dec 13: On Friday, Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, shared his thoughts on the ‘One Nation, One Election’ initiative, cautioning against a repeat of the events surrounding Article 370. In an interview with a news agency, Abdullah stated, “This proposal has not yet been presented in Parliament. It will be subject to discussion in the House, and it’s essential that this debate is transparent and open. We must avoid a situation like what occurred in 2019 with Article 370. The National Conference will deliberate on this matter and will instruct our MPs on how to proceed with their votes.”
