SRINAGAR, Feb 8: During a meeting on Saturday, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Tariq Hameed Karra reaffirmed the party’s commitment to fighting for the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood along with constitutional guarantees.
“The Congress party will persist in advocating for the rights of the people and the complete restoration of statehood with constitutional protections to uphold the dignity of J-K. We will not cease our efforts until the central government honors its commitment to reinstating statehood for J-K,” Karra stated while reviewing party matters in the region.
He also encouraged party members to actively promote the party’s programs and policies at the grassroots level and to maintain close connections with the community. (Agencies)
