Counter BJP’s False Propaganda and Uphold the Constitution: J&K Congress Chief

Jammu, January 4: Tariq Hameed Karra, the President of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee, urged the party’s Frontal Wings to effectively combat the misleading and damaging propaganda disseminated by the BJP and its affiliated organizations against the Congress party and its leaders, while also defending the Constitution.
In a meeting with the leaders and representatives of the Frontal Wings at the party headquarters last Saturday, Karra expressed that the BJP’s assault on the Constitution and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, as well as the Congress party and its prominent figures, stems from the BJP’s frustration over the public’s growing awareness of its concealed agenda.
He called on the Frontal Wings to gear up for the major campaign “Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan Abhiyan,” initiated by the All India Congress Committee (AICC), asserting that a strong nation is contingent upon the protection of the Constitution and the commitment to the principle of unity in diversity.
According to him, the BJP and RSS are undermining the fundamental ideas that reinforce national strength, thereby weakening the nation itself.
The PCC chief engaged in a day-long dialogue with the heads of various Frontal organizations, departments, and cells of the party, gathering feedback on organizational issues and grassroots structure. He listened to the insights from the Frontal Wings and advised them to enhance their reach at the grassroots level, focusing on district, block, and booth levels.
He emphasized that it is the primary responsibility of the Frontal Wings to communicate the party’s policies and programs directly to the people, as well as to counter the false narratives propagated by the BJP-RSS against the prominent leaders of the freedom struggle, such as Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Patel, and Maulana Azad.
Karra noted that the ancestors of the BJP had no role in the freedom struggle, which leads to the party’s envy towards the illustrious leaders of the Congress party and its attempts to distort history to mislead future generations.
