JAMMU, Jan 4: JKPCC leader Tariq Hameed Karra has urged the party’s Frontal wings to actively challenge the deceptive and harmful propaganda of the BJP and its affiliates against the Congress party and its leadership, while upholding the Constitution.
Speaking to the heads and representatives of these wings at the PCC office in Jammu, Karra noted that the BJP’s attacks on the Constitution and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, as well as its criticisms of Congress and its leaders, stem from the party’s frustration, given that the public has recognized the BJP’s ulterior motives.
He called on the Frontal wings to gear up for the significant “Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan Abhiyan” initiative launched by the AICC, emphasizing that national strength is derived from the protection of the Constitution and adherence to the principle of unity in diversity. He pointed out that the BJP and RSS are undermining this foundational concept, thereby compromising the nation’s integrity.
During a full day of discussions with leaders of Frontal organizations and party Departments/Cells, he sought feedback on their organizational structure and grassroots level operations. He encouraged the Frontal wings to fortify their networks at local levels, including districts, blocks, and booths.
Karra emphasized the crucial role of these wings in disseminating the party’s policies and initiatives directly to communities while countering the misleading narratives propagated by the BJP-RSS regarding prominent figures of the freedom struggle, including Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Patel, and Maulana Azad.
Attendees of the meeting included Adv. Shah Mohd Choudhary (I/C Legal Cell), Adv. Teja Singh, Vijay Sharma (Seva Dal), Ajay Lakhotra (NSUI), Zahida Khan (Intellectual Cell), Rakesh Wazir (Trade & Commerce), Ch Hussain Ali Wafa (ST), Madan Lal (OBC Cell), Rajinder Singh Nathu (Minority), Jatin Raina (Social Media), Sandeep Singh Rissam (RGPRS), Hira Lal Pandita (Kashmiri Migrant Cell), Sajjad Tariq (Pahari), Adv. Tehseena Bukhari (Mahila Congress), Anirudh Sahwney (PYC), Jugal Kishore Sharma, Shamsher Chand (INTUC), among others.
