Srinagar, Feb 6: The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has officially extended the winter vacation until February 14.
“Given the adverse weather conditions and ongoing student internship programs outside Jammu & Kashmir, the university plans to resume offline classwork starting February 17,” stated a notice from CUK.
Additionally, regular classwork will occur online from February 10 to February 14.
This decision was made after a meeting with Deans and Heads of Departments (HODs) and received approval from the competent authority to ensure that academic activities continue smoothly.
Moreover, all Heads and Coordinators of Departments are instructed to organize the academic timetable effectively, ensuring that the syllabus for the even semester is completed prior to the End Semester Examinations (ESE).
Previously, the university was set to re-open on February 10 following an extended winter break. (KNO)
