New Delhi, Feb 26: The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 15.4 degrees Celsius, which is 2.9 degrees above the usual seasonal average, according to the IMD.
The Palam observatory noted a night temperature of 17.0 degrees Celsius, marking 4.5 degrees higher than the average for this time of year, as reported by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The weather forecast indicates cloudy conditions with light rain during the day, and the maximum temperature is expected to reach 28 degrees Celsius.
By 8:30 am, humidity levels were at 86 percent.
The air quality in the national capital was recorded as ‘poor’, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 221, as shown by data from the Central Pollution Control Board.
The AQI classifications are as follows: 0-50 ‘good’, 51-100 ‘satisfactory’, 101-200 ‘moderate’, 201-300 ‘poor’, 301-400 ‘very poor’, and 401-500 ‘severe’. (Agencies)
