BUDGAM, Jan 25: The Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, together with Advisor to the Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, conducted an extensive tour of Budgam district today.
They were accompanied by Member of Parliament, Aga Syed Ruhullah, and MLA Chadoora, Ali Mohammad Dar.
DC Budgam, Akshay Labroo, along with Chief Engineers and senior officials from various departments, was also in attendance.
During a speech to a large audience, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasized that the Government has initiated a significant development program focused on far-off and underdeveloped areas. “We have instructed for the acceleration of initiatives aimed at improving the socio-economic status of the people, as well as enhancing basic infrastructure,” he stated.
“Our dedication is towards rapid and sustained development with continuous monitoring to ensure quality outputs. This approach aligns with local requirements and development tailored to specific areas,” he added.
In response to public requests, the Deputy CM announced the establishment of four-lane roads in Budgam. He also directed a survey for the road between the DC office and Humhama, along with the preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the four-lane expansion of the road connecting the DC office to the New Bus Adda in phase one.
The Advisor to the Chief Minister, during the event, highlighted various developmental efforts made by the current Government since its inception. He mentioned that a comprehensive developmental agenda is in progress to ensure the transformation of Jammu and Kashmir.
MP Aga Ruhullah detailed several initiatives taken and expressed commitment to advancing the developmental agenda of the current administration.
The Deputy Chief Minister undertook a thorough tour of the region and inspected various development projects.
While engaging with numerous delegations, the Deputy Chief Minister assured them that their concerns would be addressed promptly.
