RAJOURI, Dec 26: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chowdhary held a public outreach camp today in the Sadda area of Block Khawas, where he engaged with local residents to address their grievances and requests.
Community members highlighted multiple issues, including the need for road construction from Soni Gala to Gadyog and Dangiote to Bandigala, as well as the upgrade of High School Sadda to a Higher Secondary School.
The Deputy CM committed to addressing these concerns promptly and emphasized the government’s dedication to advancing development in remote regions.
During his visit, accompanied by MLA Javed Choudhary, Surinder Chowdhary laid the foundation stone for a 45-meter motorable bridge at Mangrote, spanning Sadda Nallah. This project, which will be implemented by PWD (R&B), has an estimated cost of Rs 520 lakh.
He assured the public that the bridge would be completed on schedule and instructed officials to maintain high-quality construction standards.
The Deputy Chief Minister reiterated the government’s focus on closing developmental gaps and enhancing rural infrastructure.
Residents expressed their gratitude for the initiation of this crucial infrastructure project, which is expected to significantly enhance connectivity in the area.
