JAMMU, Jan 28: The Director General of Police (DGP) for J&K, Nalin Prabhat, along with ADGP Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, and high-ranking officials, conducted a thorough evaluation of security measures in the Reasi and Ramban districts today.
This visit focused on assessing the readiness of security forces stationed in the area. During the inspection, the DGP checked several Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) to ensure that the personnel are adequately equipped to confront any potential security issues.
This review is part of ongoing initiatives aimed at bolstering security in this strategically significant region. The DGP received updates on the existing security framework, encountered obstacles, and the countermeasures employed.
He also engaged with members of various security units, stressing the importance of enhanced collaboration and efficient resource utilization.
Additionally, the DGP met with the Special Operations Group (SOG) to evaluate operational tactics and strategize for upcoming security missions.
