JAMMU, Jan 29: On Wednesday, the Director General of Police for Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat, toured the forward operating bases along the Kathua-Doda border, commending the specialized security teams for their proactive measures against terrorism.
Joined by Additional DGP (Jammu Zone) Anand Jain, DIG (Jammu-Kathua-Samba Range) Shiv Kumar Sharma, and Kathua SSP Shobhit Saxena, DGP Prabhat engaged with personnel from various security forces during his visit, as reported by a police spokesperson.
The police chief received an update on the current security situation and the associated challenges.
Emphasizing the importance of operational vigilance, effective task execution, and unwavering determination, the DGP praised the special teams for their committed efforts in countering terrorism. The spokesperson also noted that DIG Sharma, SSP Saxena, and senior Army officials briefed DGP Prabhat on the ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing the security framework in the district and addressing local concerns, although no specific details on these issues were provided.
