SRINAGAR, Feb 23: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Central Kashmir, Rajiv Pandey, along with DIG of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Operations North Range, Sudhir Kumar, held a joint operational meeting to bolster security and enhance operational synergy among the forces.
In a decisive effort to strengthen security measures and foster better operational collaboration, DIG Pandey and DIG Kumar assessed the joint operational capabilities of the SOG Ganderbal and CRPF on Saturday.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal, Ragav S, and other senior officials from both the Police and CRPF were also in attendance.
The personnel from SOG Ganderbal and CRPF have participated in extensive training exercises and simulations aimed at improving their operational readiness and overall effectiveness, which was evaluated during this visit.
SSP Ganderbal provided a detailed overview of the security situation in the district, highlighting the joint operations conducted by JKP and CRPF.
During the briefing, DIG Pandey shared insights into recent security developments in Jammu & Kashmir and emphasized the necessity of implementing effective strategies to address them, providing guidance to the officers.
DIG Kumar highlighted the importance of operational awareness and synergy to combat terrorism effectively.
The session concluded with a demonstration of the weapons and advanced equipment utilized by the joint teams, reaffirming the commitment to coordinated efforts against threats.
