RAJOURI, Jan 22: The Divisional Commissioner of Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, along with Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu, Anand Jain, conducted a visit to Badhaal village today to evaluate the current situation and review ongoing initiatives to ensure the safety of the local residents.
The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri has been instructed to swiftly relocate close contacts and high-risk individuals connected to the affected families from Badhaal Village to the Nursing College and Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri.
Guidance was given to Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs), Block Development Officers (BDOs), and their support staff to assist in the smooth transfer of the identified persons to the designated facilities.
Additionally, the Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department has been assigned the responsibility of deploying personnel to oversee and care for domestic animals that have been left in the village, ensuring their safety and proper maintenance.
Assigned officers and their teams will be responsible for the welfare of the relocated residents once they arrive in Rajouri, providing essential support and necessary resources during their stay.
The Divisional Commissioner urged all relevant officials to coordinate closely to ensure the effective execution of these measures.
