RAJOURI, Jan 22: Today, the Divisional Commissioner of Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, along with the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu, Anand Jain, paid a visit to Badhaal village to evaluate the situation and review the safety protocols in place for the community’s protection.
The Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri has been instructed to promptly relocate close contacts and high-risk individuals associated with the affected families from Badhaal Village to the Nursing College and Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri.
Additionally, guidelines have been given to Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs), Block Development Officers (BDOs), and their teams to ensure a smooth transition for the identified individuals to the assigned facilities.
Furthermore, the Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department has been assigned the responsibility of deploying staff to care for domestic animals left behind in the village, ensuring their safety and proper maintenance.
Designated officials and their teams will oversee the welfare of the relocated residents upon their arrival in Rajouri, providing essential support and necessities during their stay.
The Divisional Commissioner has urged all relevant officials to collaborate closely to facilitate the effective execution of these measures.
