JAMMU, Feb 26: At the three-day International Conference on Global Research Initiatives for Agriculture, Science and Technology (GRIAST-2025) held at Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishawvidhayalay (IGKV) in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, the National Agriculture Development Co-operative Ltd (NADCL) honored Dr. Banarsi Lal, Chief Scientist & Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi SKUAST-J with the ‘Best KVK Scientist Award’.
The conference was collaboratively organized by NADCL and IGKV, attracting numerous distinguished scientists, academicians, and research scholars from around the world.
Dr. Lal received the ‘Best KVK Scientist Award’ in recognition of his exceptional contributions and achievements in agriculture and allied fields.
The award considerations included his research papers, books, articles, success stories, case studies, and consultancy services.
Additionally, Dr. Lal has developed an innovative communication model designed to effectively evaluate the communication behavior of farmers.
