KADAPA (ANDHRA PRADESH), Jan 2: Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology; Earth Sciences; and Minister of State for PMO, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space, Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh recently reviewed developmental initiatives in Kadapa district during his visit for the “Aspirational Districts Programme” (ADP).
The review highlighted significant advancements in health, education, agriculture, infrastructure, and financial inclusion, positioning YSR Kadapa as a model district under the initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2018. Dr. Jitendra Singh commended the district’s notable improvements in socio-economic indicators.
During his visit, he recognized the district’s success as evidence of the effectiveness of the Aspirational Districts Programme. Dr. Singh emphasized that the integration of government schemes, real-time data monitoring, and community involvement has fostered a sustainable development model.

Stressing the importance of effective outreach, the Minister underscored the need to educate populations in rural and remote areas regarding the available opportunities and resources. These workshops will help bridge the gap between policy development and grassroots execution, ensuring that intended beneficiaries can access these schemes smoothly.
The Minister pointed out the necessity to emphasize flagship initiatives such as PM Suryaghar, PM Kisan, and PM Vishwakarma, which are designed to empower various sections of society. He highlighted the critical role of public representatives in promoting active citizen engagement and ensuring the effective implementation of these schemes. Urging collaboration, Dr. Jitendra Singh called upon all participants to work together to maximize benefits for the intended beneficiaries.
