JAMMU, Feb 5: Dr. Narinder Singh, BJP National Secretary and MLA for RS Pura-Jammu South, along with Choudhary Vikram Randhawa, MLA from Bahu, hosted a public darbar at the BJP Headquarters in Trikuta Nagar today. As reported, citizens from various areas of the city came forward to express their concerns and seek timely solutions to ongoing issues.
Among the issues presented were complaints from Nawabad and Sunjwan regarding lanes, drainage systems, and electric poles. Residents of Sainik Colony raised concerns about broken streetlights and the need for new lanes and drains. A delegation from Last Morh Gandhi Nagar requested enhancements to civil infrastructure, while residents of Gangyal appealed for drain cleaning. Further, two groups from Ashok Nagar and Nai Basti addressed issues related to leaking drinking water supply pipes.
In response to these concerns, Dr. Narinder Singh underscored the significance of a governance model that prioritizes the people’s needs. He criticized the previous NC Government for neglecting public interests and emphasized the urgent need for a responsive government to address these issues. Dr. Singh urged the NC Government to concentrate on resolving public grievances rather than engaging in political rhetoric.
Vikram Randhawa reassured the community of BJP’s commitment to resolving their issues promptly. He noted that many of the concerns were addressed immediately, and that written and verbal communications were relayed to the appropriate authorities for further action.
