While urging adherence to mining protocols, Choudhary remarked that any deviation would not be tolerated, stressing the responsibility of District Mining Officers to prevent such occurrences. “Officers must ensure that mining operations are conducted in strict alignment with established guidelines. Lessees, too, should not violate any rules and must collaborate closely with the department to manage and rectify any violations,” he stated.
He further highlighted the need to consider environmental implications during excavation processes, calling for careful management of the region’s delicate ecosystem. “Development initiatives must be balanced with environmental sustainability. Protecting our environment is just as crucial as promoting growth,” he added.
