Jammu, Feb 17: The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Jammu, executed search operations in accordance with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, across several locations in Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh on Thursday.
These raids targeted Raees Ahmed Bhat and others in connection with suspected illicit sales and the diversion of Codeine-Based Cough Syrup (CBCS).
During the operation, the ED uncovered various documentary and digital evidence. Officials also confiscated unaccounted cash totaling Rs. 40.62 lakh and jewellery valued at Rs. 1.61 crore.
