JAMMU, Jan 31: Emphasizing his vision for the local youth to lead the transformative efforts in Jammu and Kashmir, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha called upon the National Cadet Corps (NCC) to inspire and encourage young individuals in the Union Territory to take part in nation-building initiatives.
During a gathering with the NCC cadets who participated in the Republic Day Camp in New Delhi, he urged them to commit to five key resolutions: rapid advancement of J&K, enhancement of citizens’ quality of life, establishment of social units, fostering constructive social change through NCC values, and ensuring broader societal engagement in the development journey of the nation.
This year, a total of 127 cadets from the Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh NCC Directorate took part in the Republic Day celebrations. Among them, seventeen marched on Kartavya Path, with five cadets selected for the Guard of Honour.
