JAMMU, Jan 12: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today reiterated the current Government’s commitment to a people-centric approach, emphasizing the importance of social and economic empowerment alongside comprehensive development as key priorities.
He made these remarks during a function hosted by the Jatt Sabha in R.S. Pura.
Prominent figures in attendance included MLA Jammu East Vikram Randhawa, former Ministers Manjit Singh, Choudhary Sukhanandan, Gharu Ram, DDC member TS Tony, and senior officials from the Jatt Sabha.
The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted ongoing initiatives designed to foster inclusive development, ensuring fair progress for all without favoritism.
“We have issued directives to expedite developmental projects throughout Jammu and Kashmir, and we are conducting regular assessments to maintain momentum,” he stated.
On this occasion, members of the Jatt Sabha expressed their appreciation to the Chief Minister for recognizing their community’s representation.
Later, the Deputy Chief Minister took part in a Lohri celebration organized by the Jatt Sabha, expressing optimism that this festival would bring peace and prosperity to Jammu and Kashmir.
