New Delhi, Feb 27: Rajesh Kumar, a former IPS officer of the Jammu and Kashmir cadre (AGMUT: 1995), has had his deputation as Additional Director General (ADG) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) extended for an additional year.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has issued an order stating that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has agreed to the Ministry of Home Affairs’ request to continue Kumar’s tenure beyond March 18, 2025.
Kumar has previously held the position of Inspector General (IG) of the CRPF in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as IG of the Special Security Group (SSG) in the former state.
