JAMMU, Dec 1: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has executed a minor bureaucratic reshuffle today, resulting in the transfer and posting of four officials—three from the IAS cadre and one from the JKAS.
According to the issued order, Nidhi Malik, an IAS officer from the 2013 AGMUT cadre who was awaiting her posting in the General Administration Department, has been assigned as the Deputy Commissioner of Reasi. Additionally, Rupesh Kumar, a 2019 batch IAS officer also awaiting his appointment in the General Administration Department, will now serve as the Director of Social Welfare Jammu, filling an available vacancy.
Another officer, Shahzad Alam, also from the 2019 AGMUT IAS cadre and awaiting a posting in the General Administration Department, has been designated as the Director of Employment for J&K, succeeding Nisar Ahmad Wani, a JKAS officer, who is now required to report to the General Administration Department for his next assignment. Furthermore, Shahzad Alam has been tasked with taking on the additional responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer for Mission Youth and Mission Director for Mission YUVA until further instructions.
In another change, Vishesh Paul Mahajan (JKAS), who was serving as the DC of Reasi, has been transferred to the position of Director of Tourism for Jammu to fill another available vacancy.
