Jammu, Feb 27: The Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu has updated the duty timings for its personnel, introducing seasonal changes to the work schedule.
According to Government Order No. 272-JK(HME) of 2024, regular working hours will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays, including a half-hour lunch break from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. For Saturdays, the hours will be from 9:00 AM until 1:30 PM.
An amendment under Government Order No. 892-JK(HME) of 2024 has established a winter schedule, modifying working hours to 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM for the period of December 1 to February 28/29. This winter schedule will conclude on February 28, 2025, after which the standard working hours will resume on March 1, 2025.
The administration has requested that all staff comply with the new timings.
