JAMMU, Jan 3: Lieutenant General Navin Sachdeva, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Jammu-based White Knight Corps, visited forward positions along the Line of Control (LoC) in the border districts of Rajouri and Poonch today to assess security measures and operational readiness.

During this visit, he also interacted with trainee IAS officials, focusing on themes such as national security, governance, and civil-military collaboration, stressing their vital role in strengthening the nation. “The GOC, White Knight Corps, along with the GOC of the Ace of Spades Division, conducted inspections at forward posts along the LoC in Poonch and Rajouri to evaluate security and operational readiness,” stated the White Knight Corps on X.
Lieutenant General Sachdeva commended the troops for their dedication to maintaining peace and urged them to stay vigilant.

Regular security review meetings reflect his ongoing commitment to ensure peace and stability in the area. Lt Gen Sachdeva engaged in comprehensive discussions with field commanders and troops to guarantee operational preparedness and enhance vigilance around these sensitive border regions. He also met residents of border villages, addressing their concerns and reaffirming the Army’s unwavering support in ensuring their safety and tackling developmental issues. His meetings underscored the Indian Army’s commitment to building trust and cooperation with the local population.
“The GOC’s frequent visits to forward areas and his engagement with locals and officials illustrate the Indian Army’s commitment to safeguarding the borders and strengthening ties with the civilian community,” noted the officials.
