NEW DELHI, Feb 11: On the eve of Guru Ravidas’s birth anniversary, President Droupadi Murmu extended her greetings to the citizens, urging them to embrace his teachings of compassion and selfless service.
“Guru Ravidasji was an eminent Indian saint whose writings promote unity and brotherhood. His profound poetry surpasses the boundaries of caste and religion, inspiring all of humanity. The life of Sant Ravidasji serves as a beacon of inspiration for every segment of society,” she remarked.
The President conveyed her heartfelt wishes and warm regards on the occasion of Guru Ravidas’s birth anniversary through a statement released by her office.
“This occasion calls for us to embrace his ideals of devotion, compassion, and selfless service, incorporating them into our lives to help create an inclusive society and a prosperous nation,” Murmu emphasized. (PTI)
