Handwara, Feb 25: Authorities in Handwara, following an attachment order issued by the Hon’ble Additional Sessions Court, have confiscated properties (3 Kanals, 12 Marlas) valued in lakhs belonging to terror operatives based in Pakistan. The individuals involved are Tahir Ahmad Peer, S/O Shamus-ud-din Peer, R/O Badrah Bala Qaziabad, and Mohd Ramzan Ganie, S/O Mohd Abdullah Ganie, R/O Ganapora Qaziabad.
This action falls under sections 88 CrPc (83 central) and is associated with case FIR No. 73/2011 under U/S 2/3 EIMCO Act, 121 A RPC from Police Station Kralgund.
The property was identified as belonging to absconders during the investigation and inquiry conducted by the Police.
