NEW DELHI, Jan 19: On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the National Disaster Response Force, highlighting the bravery, commitment, and selfless efforts of its personnel as a vital support during challenging times.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is a leading central agency responsible for disaster response.
It is commemorating its 19th raising day.
“On this significant day marking the establishment of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), we honor the bravery, dedication, and selfless service of those courageous individuals who stand as a shield amidst adversity,” Modi expressed in a message on X.
The Prime Minister remarked that their steadfast dedication to saving lives, addressing disasters, and ensuring safety during crises is genuinely commendable.
“The NDRF has also established global benchmarks in disaster response and management,” he added. (PTI)
